Walking the cholera red carpet: The genesis of the severest outbreak in Ghana in 30 years

Subtly, cholera has claimed 128 lives in Ghana, at a time no one believed that could ever happen.

The year 2014 would forever be remembered as the year that cholera sprang on a whole nation like a thief in the night, when everyone had gone to sleep, and attacked about 16,500 defenceless people; that is, if indeed that number is the true reflection of those who have been infected with the disease so far and the number stays the same till the end of the year.
